Adobe Photoshop / Curtain Texture

  1. Create a new layer and fill it with black
  2. Select Gradient Tool - Colors: Black to White, Linear Gradient, Mode: Difference
  3. Make short horizontal gradient strokes from left to right across the canvas
  4. Go over until it looks right
  5. Create two new layers - Color: Both 50% gray, Opacity: both 35%, Mode: one Darken and one Lighten
  6. Drag a fabric texture image on top and stretch it vertically
  7. Set the texture layer to Overlay
  8. Adjust Hue/Saturation
